Securely Packaged

What this looks like varies depending on your product, but some examples:
Stickers, buttons, magnets, patches (small things) – in sealed envelope.
Prints – in a sealed envelope, or plastic sleeve
T-Shirts, art, embroidery – in sealed envelope, polymailer, bag, or box.

Please notice the emphasis on sealed. When handling hundreds of orders with multiple vendors, ensuring that the items are kept in easily identifiable, secure packaging. If using washi tape to seal things, please make sure it will actually stay attached. If in doubt, please also use regular tape.

In short, you should be able to take each order’s package and shake it around and nothing should come apart or out – or be damaged.

Clearly Labeled

What this looks like varies depending on your product, but some examples:

Prints – in a sealed envelope, or plastic sleeve
T-Shirts, art, embroidery – in sealed envelope, polymailer, bag, or box.

Each package should be clearly labelled with the following, in this order:

• The order number
• The customer name
• Your name/business name
• The items contained in the order

If you are using slips of paper instead of labels, please ensure the slips are taped on all four sides to avoid them coming off. A sample label is below:

Labels do not need to be printed: they can be written by hand. The sample is printed because it’s what I find easiest to manage my own workload. It is the information included that is most important. Please ensure that the label or information is printed on the top corner of the package of the envelope so that it is easy for us to leaf through the box quickly and find the corner.

Fragile Items Protected

If your items are fragile, please ensure they are adequately protected with bubble wrap. This is especially important if the items are noted as being shipped.

This does not mean you have to use bubble mailers, we will be padding within the box – but having the item in a small box or wrapped with some bubble wrap that is taped would be wonderful.
