Pride, Not Prejudice (A Craft & Community Fair) is partnering with Homo Phono for a special chance to get together virtually in these strange, strange times! So, come, #StayHomo, Rise Up & Dance!
Featuring DJ del Pilar & DJ Avenue!
Great folks, great music, and a great chance to have a good time from the comfort of your living room! Come join us and groove to some of the most excellent beats, hang out and chat, and enjoy each other in a COVID safe manner!
DJ del Pilar is a queer, Black Latina vocalist who fell in love with the decks a few years back. She’s had a busy few years with gigs at Ottawa Dyke March, OhMyJam, House of Paint, the NAC, and opening for Mix Master Mike.
As the resident DJ and co-creator of Homo Phono and StayHomo, Ottawa’s coziest queer dance parties, she brings the beats spinning house, funk, disco, and anything that’ll make you sweat!
Often found shazaming the best beats at queer parties, DJ Avenue has graduated from making mixes for friends to taking her turn at the decks. Community builder and revolutionary, her passion lies in connecting people on the dance floor.
This event is FREE as part of the Pride, Not Prejudice Fair. No purchase is necessary!
However, if you’re able and willing to chip in – we are splitting any donations to the tip jar between costs and our two charitable causes for PNP!
