Shelter Movers Ottawa
CharityShelter Movers is a national, volunteer-powered charitable organization that provides moving and storage services at no cost to women and children experiencing abuse. At Shelter Movers Ottawa we collaborate with local businesses and community agencies in Ottawa to support families transitioning to a life free of violence.
At our core, we aim to remind survivors of their intrinsic worth and the power they are reclaiming in their decision to leave an abusive relationship. At the end of the day, our story is made up of many stories, starting with those of survivors. Shelter Movers of Ottawa was established in October 2017. Our growing team of dedicated volunteers helps to ensure we have an immediate and lasting impact on survivors in the community.
